MOORE ON STAGE - "The Nutcracker". 11/25 and 11/26 at 7:30pm,
11/26 and 11/27 at 2pm. This ballet is the most
celebrated ballet of all times and is most indicative of the Christmas
Season. It begins with a party, where Uncle Drosselmeyer gives Clara
the most beautiful nutcracker as his present. A magnificent production
for all ages. Tickets are $20/adult, $12/students (18 and under).

ANNUAL SOUTHERN PINES HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE & TREE LIGHTING. 10am-5pm. Shops
will be open and kicking off the holiday season with entertainment on the streets
of downtown Southern Pines and free pictures with Santa at the Train Station, 4pm.
Bring your camera and wish list! The Southern Pines Christmas Tree
Lighting ceremony begins in the late afternoon with entertainment by local
choirs.The streets of downtown Southern

CHRISTMAS AT WEYMOUTH. 10am-4pm. The Women of Weymouth invite
the community to their annual fund raiser. Twenty-five rooms in the
Southern Historic Home of James and Katherine Boyd will be decorated for
the holidays by local garden clubs, professional decorators, florists
and individuals. Refreshments, musical entertainment throughout the

There will be plenty of fun for everyone including holiday crafts and the
reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. Each child will have the

5th ANNUAL REINDEER FUN RUN. 9am. The fifth Annual Reindeer Fun Run 5k Run/Walk is a FUN community
event with a goal of 2,500 participants ranging from serious runners to recreational walkers,
families, pets and local businesses. The goal is to generate holiday cheer while raising money for
the Boys and Girls Club of the Sandhills, Inc. The start this year is in Aberdeen.

34th ANNUAL EPISCOPAL DAY SCHOOL CANDLELIGHT TOUR OF HOMES.
1-6 pm. This year's tour features a variety of homes from across the
Southern Pines and Pinehurst area, each uniquely decorated for the
holidays. Talented local musicians, singers, and chefs will also be
highlighted in several of the residences. Tickets for the Candlelight
Tour are available for $20.00 at the door of each tour home or from

CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE AT THE HOUSE IN THE HORSESHOE. 11am-3pm. The historic home will be decorated for the
Christmas season and open for visitors. Colonial era re-enactors will be on site, attired in period
dress and demonstrating various 18th century crafts and skills complete with musket and cannon firing
throughout the day. Visitors can enjoy period music and finger food with light refreshments. Come
celebrate the holiday season by taking a step back in time and tour this historic gem. The House
will remain decorated until after the first of the year. Admission is free, however donations are
accepted. The House in the Horseshoe is located 16 miles west of Sanford off NC 42 and 10 miles

MOORE ON STAGE - "A Tuna Christmas". Dec. 14, 15, 16, 17 @ 7:30pm and Dec. 18 @ 2pm. A Tuna
Christmas is the second in a series of comedic plays (Greater Tuna, Red, White and Tuna and Tuna
Does Vegas), each set in the fictional town of Tuna Texas, the “third smallest” town in the state.
This play centers on the town’s annual Christmas Yard Display Contest. A mysterious “Christmas Phantom”
threatens to throw the contest into turmoil. Come visit some of your favorite characters —
