WOODLAKE TRIATHLON AND DUATHLON. Check-in 6:30-7:30am, Race Starts at 8am. The Woodlake Triathlon/Duathlon has been the premier Spring triathlon of the Sandhills for over 10 years and has become a Memorial Weekend tradition. Most of the race takes place within the beautiful gated community of Woodlake in Vass. The triathlon consists of a 600 yard swim (expected to be wet suit legal) in the 1300 acre lake, a 17.2 mile bike around the hilly perimeter of Woodlake followed by a 3 mile flat, fast run.
