The NC Golf Panel has released its 2010 list of Top 100 Golf Courses in North Carolina. Twenty of the courses in the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen area made the list and five of them are in the Top 10. Tufts Archives and the Convention & Visitor Bureau for the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area have teamed up to develop and publish "Village of Pinehurst: An Historic Walking Tour". This compact book describes four easily accessible walking tours of the Village of Pinehurst as well as a slightly longer driving tour.
