Southern Pines native and Nashville recording artist, Annelle Staal, is cooped-up just like the rest of us during the Coronavirus pandemic. On April 17th, the 2016 Pinecrest High School graduate joined the CVB for an exclusive concert broadcast via our Facebook page (Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB).
Staal was joined by CVB President & CEO, Phil Werz, to talk about how we are all handling the Coronavirus crisis, how much she enjoys performing in her hometown and her new single, “The Grey” which is now available via Spotify and other online music services.
The broadcast also provided an avenue to talk about how important it is for all of us to support local businesses, especially restaurants that are struggling to survive by purchasing takeout/delivery and gift cards. Aside from doing those things, people can also directly assist restaurant and hospitality workers via a Virtual Tip Jar, or several outlets offering GoFundMe pages. See how to help below:

Thanks again to Annelle Staal for being so generous with her time to support her hometown! When this crisis passes, be sure to watch her perform in the area at places like the Bell Tree Tavern, Drum & Quill, Pinehurst Brewing Company and The Wine Cellar. Annelle will also be performing at the Sunrise Theater’s Annual Raise The Roof Fundraising Concert on August 16!
