Exploring the intersection of art and medicine, this event features John Lee, our artist in residence, who taught himself to paint with his nondominant hand following his stroke. He will be accompanied by medical professionals Dr. Miller Johnstone III, Moderator, with Dr. Karen Sullivan (neuropsychologist), and Dr. Henry Tellez (neurologist), panelists, who will explore how the central nervous system may recover and adapt to a stroke to return function and quality of life, although the pathway may be unconventional.
