Kids will love having breakfast with Santa this coming December 11 from 9 to 11 a.m.  That jolly fella arrives at the Sandhills Woman’s Exchange via an antique firetruck compliments of Jamie Boles.  Seating is limited for this festive event sponsored by Martha Gentry Realty, so reservations are required.  Adult tickets are $20; $5 for children 6 to 12; and 5 years and under are free.  Tickets are available at the SWE.

Pancakes and sausages will be cooked by chef volunteers Jim Wiltjer and Tony Elms. Children will enjoy the charming puppet Kindermonkey and stories by Jill Johnson Egan.  Parents are reminded to bring their cameras and all children receive a goodie bag to take home.

The SWE hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; lunch served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteer opportunities at the cabin include helping in the artisan gift shop, serving as a waitress in the Cabin Café, and garden upkeep.
