Enjoy classical music in the intimate setting of the Boyd House Great Room! The first artists in our four-part Chamber Sessions series are some of our favorite musicians—all with a connection to Weymouth!

Weymouth Executive Director and violist Katie Wyatt is pulling together renowned area musicians for an afternoon of musical collaboration and an exciting world premiere. The musical Friends of Weymouth will feature the Village Chapel’s Stephen Gourley on piano, Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra’s Megan Kenny on violin, Weymouth’s Katie Wyatt on viola, and Sandhills Community College’s Ryan Book on guitar.

The program will be comprised of selected favorites with different instrumental combinations and will include the world premiere of “Casualty,” a poem by James Boyd set to music by composer and Reverend Dr. Paul Murphy for viola, piano, and bass voice.
