Moore County Authors! Join us for a new chapter in the 36th Annual Moore County Writers’ Competition (MCWC). First Draft: A Writer’s Workshop will offer writing prompts and other helpful exercises from a professional author to help you get your creative juices flowing and prepare you to submit your best fiction, nonfiction, or poetry works by November 3, 2022* for prizes that will be awarded in five categories: Elementary – Grades 1-3 • Elementary – Grades 4-6 • Middle School Grades 7-9 • High School Grades 10-12 • Adults.

*We request that workshop attendees intend to take part in MCWC.
