Sensory Spa: Soap and Slime
Welcome to one of our new children’s programs at Artworks Vass: Kiddo and Me Morning Out.
It’s our own little twist on the Mommy/Daddy/Nanny and Me (any child under the age of six) programs. Come and join us the first Friday of every month from 10 AM to 11:30 AM for a morning craft for you and the little one to complete together. There will be a toddler/preschooler craft suitable for a guardian and child to create together here at the studio while also visiting with other adults and kiddos just like you in the community.
This month we will focus on self-care and mothering love—A Spring Spa to be exact. We will make spa items while exploring the sensory delights of making squishy soap balls and aroma-therapy dough that can be used or gifted to the “moms” in your life this Mother’s Day. Slime/Dough is a form of sensory play and a stress reliever, so any children, or adults, who create and play with sensory mixes are unknowingly releasing endorphins.
It is a lot of fun and pretty messy so be sure to wear your crafting clothes.
The price for one kiddo and their adult is $29. For larger families, you can bring additional kiddos for $9 each.

Only those who have registered may participate.
Dress to mess or bring an apron!
