ALL-BREED DOG SHOW RETURNS AFTER 2-YEAR COVID-19 SPECTATOR HIATUS, PLUS TWO NEW ADDITIONAL DAYS FEATURING GOLDEN RETRIEVERS

One of the finest annual Sandhills events is back. The Moore County Kennel Club will hold its annual AKC-licensed All-Breed Dog Show in Pinehurst on May 7-8, 2022, at the Polo Fields (behind the Harness Track). One thousand dogs will compete each day for Best In Show, Best of Breed, Best of Group, Best Owner-Handled and Best 4-6 Month Puppy.

“We are excited and delighted to welcome the crowds back and showcase almost 200 breeds of purebred dogs,” said show chairperson Karolynne McAteer. “This is a perfect activity for people of all ages. Families love it. And if anyone has questions about their own dogs, there are experts available everywhere. If you’re curious about purchasing a specific breed, there will most likely be a responsible breeder to answer any questions.”

Additionally, May 5-6 will feature a large Golden Retriever show each day.

Attendees can shop at the Merchant Tent. And Food Trucks will be serving Breakfast and Lunch foods for sale.

Admission is $5 per car or golf cart. Proceeds from our Dog Shows benefit dog-related charities, including the Moore County Pet Responsibility Committee, and scholarships for those attending veterinary professional degrees at NC State Vet School and Central Carolina Community College. Since 2010, the club has donated more than $150,000.
