Weymouth in Motion is a modern dance experience where the audience enters the Weymouth Gardens grounds and begins their modern dance journey. Once on the grounds, audience members can then use their tokens to pick up their spirit and hors d’ouvres of choice. Admittance for children 10 & under is free. Tickets will be available day-of at the Weymouth Center or purchase online.

Each ticket includes two tokens: one drink token and one food token. Additional tokens can be purchased.

At 6:30pm, the audience will begin the first motion tour, where they will walk along a navigated path through the gardens experiencing various site-specific dance pieces and an amalgam of visual art and vocals.

At 7:00pm, after the motion tour, the event will transition into a more traditional setting for the audience and performer, the mainstage show. Audience members can then grab their lawn chair or blanket and find a spot on the Weymouth lawn to enjoy more bites and experience more modern dance works from local NC choreographers.

After the mainstage show, the audience is invited to mingle and meet the performers!
