Join us as Writer-in-Residence Dudley Marchi, Professor of Humanities at North Carolina State University, explores the significant French heritage in North Carolina, an important part of our state’s cultural history. Marchi’s works include: France: The French Heritage of North Carolina; The French Lost Colony of North Carolina: “La Colonie Perdue”; and The Blue Notebooks. Using material gathered from archives, libraries, interviews, and photographs, Marchi traces the French heritage in North Carolina from its origins to the present.
