The Pinehurst, Southern Pines, & Aberdeen Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is pleased to announce the 2018 Official Destination Guide is now available in print and online.

The publication is created in partnership with CompassMedia out of GulfShores, AL. For several years now, the CVB and CompassMedia have refined the guide to suggest a lifestyle magazine look that includes stories about local history, events, and personalities. The guide features two different covers but both contain the same rich content. The CVB will be distributing 50,000 copies of the guide throughout 2018. While the content reflects the new creative, “Golf’s True Spirit,” it also reflects the area’s true spirit of serenity and refreshment. From the various trails you can follow or create on your own, to wellness activities that refresh your soul, the guide has information to lead you there. Visitors remark about the richness of our pottery country, the beauty of our parks and gardens, and of course the wonderful championship golf courses that have attracted beginners and professionals throughout the decades.

In addition, the 2018 Official Destination Guide is available online for viewing or downloading. The advantage to the online guide is the ability to click on links throughout the book and go directly to individual website. The digital content includes videos that highlight special features of the area. Maps illustrate the proximity of the 40 championship golf courses and neighboring towns and villages filled with dining and shopping options throughout the area.
