Robbins Bear Creek Trails & Disc Golf Course

The Bear Creek Trail System is over 14 miles of trails located along scenic Bear and Cabin Creeks. Map kiosks at intersections and the main trail heads provide info on different loop hikes, distances and difficulty. Start your hike at the Elise or Water Plant Trail Heads.

Follow the “Super Loop” arrows for a 6.5 mile hike involving all trails in the system.

The Elise Trail Head is located at the end of NW Broad St. near the bus parking area at Elise Middle School.

BEAR CAT LOOP TRAIL

This 1 mile trail is accessible across from the Elise Trailhead.

The Bear Creek trail system offers something for all levels of hikers to explore the beautiful outdoors of the Robbins area. Disc Golf, mountain biking, kayak, canoe and more is also available.

PowerHouse is a faith-based, family-owned indoor batting cage and training facility that specializes in baseball and fastpitch softball.  We are passionate about giving players of all ages and skill-levels an opportunity to learn the game of baseball or softball in an encouraging and safe environment without compromising exceptional quality, affordable prices and outstanding customer service.

Baseball & Softball

With our pitching/hitting tunnels (including 2 real-life video projected hitting simulators), we cater to individual athletes and organized teams/groups looking to improve their skills, or families looking for a fun way to spend time together.  Our simulators throw real baseballs & softballs – no dimple balls here! Our tunnels are fully retractable, creating a large fully-turfed area for team practices, sports-related conditioning or games of kickball/dodgeball.  We also offer lessons with qualified instructors and structured skills-development camps for various age groups. 

No Membership Required

Everyone is welcome at PowerHouse without having to buy a membership or belong to a specific team or club.  While open cages are available to walk-in customers, reservations are recommended to ensure availability upon your arrival.

Moore County Sports Complex & Splash Pad

Our four 300 foot baseball/softball fields with field house and concession stand  are joined by the addition of a Recreation Center and Splash Pad.  The new center houses indoor basketball courts that provides a great place for pickleball and other indoor events.

Baseball/Softball fields, picnic shelter are available for rental with the new splash pad!

Where is the Splash Pad located?

At Hillcrest Park at the intersection on Routes 15/501 and 22. The address is 155 Hillcrest Park Lane.

What are the hours of operation for the Splash Pad?

The Splash Pad is open seasonally.  Hours of operation from 10 am to 6pm. Reopening May 21, 2022

Cannon Park

Cannon Park, off Hwy 211, is a 15 acre facility with restrooms, 2 baseball/softball fields, covered picnic shelter, walking trails, and a small practice soccer field.  If you would like to reserve the picnic shelter or any of the fields for a special event, please call (910) 295-2817 x0.
