Opened in December 2020, this cute eatery specializes in sandwiches with fresh cut meats, comfort food like mac and cheese bowls, salads and a fully-stocked bar featuring locally-produced craft beer and more than 40 kinds of whiskeys and bourbons. The goal is to offer good food and enjoy good company.

Owned by Nate Lonnen and his girlfriend, Melissa, the couple moved from Charlotte to chase their dream of owning and operating their own restaurant after years in the industry. The Workshop Tavern name stems from Nate’s love of wood working – he created most of the design for the restaurant himself. The restaurant is open daily from 11am-9pm.
