Here’s what happening this weekend inside the Home of American Golf…
On Friday, Sept. 10th, it’s time for Live at Five in the Village of Pinehurst. It happens from 5-9 pm at Tufts Memorial Park. Enjoy beach music from The Entertainers with pre-show from Paige King Johnson. There will be food trucks and beer available from Southern Pines Brewing Company.
On Saturday, Sept. 11th, head to Sandhills Community College for the season finale of the Concerts on the Green Summer Concert Series. Moore County native Abigail Dowd provides the sounds with a combination of folk, rock and blues. Go to Ticket Me Sandhills to purchase tickets, but they will also be available at the event.
How about an outdoor movie? The Sunrise Theatre in Southern Pines will be showing “The Princess Bride” On Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased in advance on the Sunrise Theatre website. It would be inconceivable not to see you there!
And finally, help support the Boys & Girls Club of the Sandhills at The Cradle par 3 short course at Pinehurst Resort on Sunday, Sept. 12. Tee times start at 4:15 pm and cost is $125 per person. A few spots remain, so go to Sandhillsbgc.com/cradle for tickets and more information.
