Friday, April 21

Carthage Farmers Market

Saturday, April 22

Weymouth Woods - longleaf pine forest

Party for the Pine

On Saturday starting at 10:00am, join the celebration at Weymouth Woods’ Party for the Pine. Celebrate the 475th birthday of the oldest known living longleaf pine in the world and enjoy a guided hike, animals, games, and demonstrations. Learn more at friendsofwewo.org.



Earth Day Celebration

At noon, come out to the Sunrise Theater green space for an Earth Day celebration. Shop local garden clubs, beekeepers, and more! Then enjoy a showing of “The Pollinators.” Learn more and purchase tickets at sunrisetheater.com.

Blue & Brews Festival

From noon to 7:00pm, come out to Malcolm Blue Farm for their annual Blue & Brews Festival at the Farm. Enjoy bluegrass performances, yard games, and food. Admission is $5 per person. Learn more at townofaberdeen.net.

Sunday, April 23

Lumbee Life, Lore, & Legacy

On Sunday from 2:00-4:00pm, come out to the Weymouth Center for the series conclusion of Lumbee Life, Lore & Legacy. Speaker Arvis Boughman will lecture on “Herbal Remedies of the Lumbee Indians.” Learn more and purchase tickets at weymouthcenter.org.

Free Outdoor Concert

At 4:00pm, come out to Cameron for a swing and band concert by New Horizons Band in the Pines. This concert is sponsored by the Arts Council of Moore County and is free to attend. Learn more at mooreart.org.
