Weekend in the Sandhills

The Sandhills of North Carolina is a special place bustling with things to see and do. Saturday, December 10

On Saturday at 11:00am, join the Town of Aberdeen for their annual Christmas parade through historic downtown Aberdeen! Learn more at facebook.com/APRDNC.

Railhouse Brewery logo

At 12:00pm, join Railhouse Brewery for their annual Ugly Sweater Triathlon. Participate in the beer mile, the keg toss, the keg relay, and the ugliest sweater contest. All proceeds benefit injured and ill service members. Learn more at facebook.com/railhouse.brewery.7.

 

 

At 1:00pm, come out to Malcolm Blue Farm for an Old-Fashioned Christmas. The farmhouse will be decorated for an 1800s Christmas, enjoy live music, light refreshments, and children’s activities. Learn more at facebook.com/APRDNC.

 

 

Santa at Pik N Pig in Carthage, NC

From 2:00pm-5:00pm, come out to the Pik N Pig to see Santa fly in with his skydiving elves! This experience was voted the #1 Santa sighting in our area. Of course, don’t miss out on delicious Pik N Pig barbecue while you’re there! Learn more at facebook.com/thepiknpig.

Highlander Farm Christmas Lights

Aloha Safari Zoo

Through the end of December, enjoy a visit to Aloha Safari Zoo for their first Christmas light show! Drive through a two-mile trail with over one million lights, feed a giraffe, or take a photo with Santa and a baby kangaroo! Learn more at alohasafaripark.com.
