Land of the Longleaf Pine Hike

On Sunday at 2:00pm, come out to Weymouth Woods for a hike to learn about the longleaf pine ecosystem.  A ranger will lead the 1.5 mile hike and discussion about the longleaf pine growth cycle and the role of fire. Learn more at facebook.com/friendsofweymouthwoods.

Master Storyteller Mitch Capel

Come out to the Weymouth Center for two performances by master storyteller Mitch Capel. This celebration of Black History Month will feature compositions by poet Paul Laurence Dunbar and some of Capel’s original works. Learn more and register at weymouthcenter.org.
