All weekend, head to UNC Pembroke for the Lumbee Film Festival showcasing bold, original new films made by Native Americans, Indigenous Filmmakers, and American Indians, especially members of the Lumbee Tribe. At 4:00pm, join the Sandhills Bogeys for Military Appreciation Night at their home game. There will be food trucks, kids’ games, and patriotic music. Tickets range from $5-$10 and can be purchased at oldnorthstateleague.com.
Join Sandhills Motoring Club for their monthly Cars & Coffee event from 9:00am-11:00am in the Village of Pinehurst. Show off your favorite car or come see some classics. Learn more at sandhillsmotoringclub.com.
Starting at 1:00pm, head to James Creek Cider House for their Blueberry Festival. Come try Bellatrix Blue Cider, listen to a jazz trio from the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra, try food truck Everything Rolled, and a farmers market featuring eight local farms.
