MOORE AG+ART Tour 2024 Vendor Application & Information

How the tour will be set up:
Site locations and artists will link together to create an event(s) during the timeframe of September 27-October 20th, 2024 (Friday, Saturdays and/or Sundays) with an ag and art theme.  Each event will need to be individually managed by the site location and artists.
  • Applications will be available from now until May 15, 2024 @ 5pm.
  • Application notifications & assignments will be sent out by July 1, 2024 unless you have already specified an arrangement.
  • Each event is held rain or shine determined by the host location for safety.
  • Applicants can choose to do 1-4 events during this time.
  • All vendors must fill out an application in order to be accepted into The Moore AG+ART Tour.
  • This event is limited to applicants who are either artists, farms or produce local goods located in Moore County, NC.
  • It is up to the farm & artist to agree on (1) date (2) time (3) financial commitments and agreements.
  • It is your event, and you can sell your goods/artwork etc. at your specified event.
  • Every event is strongly recommended to create an online ticketed event. This will help with crowd control, offering a better experience for visitors and hosts, it will help with commitment from visitors.
    • You can charge what you want. Charging can also offset costs.
    • You can choose to not charge if you wish but we still recommend you create an online ticket.
  • The farm & artist/event must provide an event(s) ticket weblink by July 31, 2024. More chance to advertise and prepare.
  • The farm & artist/event must provide a digital flyer for their event(s) by July 31, 2024. More chance to advertise and prepare.

Artisan Criteria

  • An Artisan for the purpose of this program is defined as an individual that makes hand-crafted products without the use of kits or commercial products.
  • Bakers and value-added food producers must provide a copy of any applicable permit required to sell your product in North Carolina.
  • The AG+Art Tour County Planning Team will make every effort to place artisans at their requested location but this placement cannot be guaranteed.

As a participating Moore County AG+Art Artisan, you agree to:

  • Participate during the designated time/hours of the tour.
  • Engage visitors through demonstrations and/or performances.
  • Connect with your Tour Site prior to the tour to introduce yourself and plan your set-up.
  • And most importantly, have fun!

TOUR SITE PARTICIPATION CRITERIA

A Tour Site, for the purpose of this program, is a working farm or other agricultural settings where visitors interact with farm landscape or participate in an agricultural process for tourism or leisure purposes.

A Tour Site can also be an artisan location identified as producing goods and services.

  • There is no fee to participate as a tour site.
  • Tour Sites must have proof of liability insurance.
  • Locations must be easily accessible by 2-wheel drive vehicles.
  • All sites must be visitor friendly, clean, and able to provide ample parking.
  • Tour Sites must agree to host artisans and/or farmers at their site during the tour.

As a Moore Ag+Art Tour Site, you agree to:

  • Host artisans at your site during the tour or an artisan site that hosts local goods, produce, farm products.
  • Contact your insurance agent to ensure you are carrying adequate liability insurance and take steps to reduce or eliminate risk due to negligence.
  • Have one, clearly defined entrance where a sign-in table will be located.
  • Use our brand guide to promote the tour to the best of your ability through your social media, website, blogs, and other marketing efforts.
  • Participate during the designated time/hours of the tour.
  • Engage visitors through demonstrations and/or performances.
  • And most importantly, have FUN!

The AG+Art Tour County Planning Team will make every effort to connect Artisans and Farm/Site Locations requested together, but this placement cannot be guaranteed.
